Cut/paste words to Text Viewer with accents, umlauts, etc. turns off Highlight option.
I thought I mentioned this in a message to Lynn, but have not heard a response.
To reproduce:

Use either German Bible or either Spanish version.
1. Check View/Misc Settings that "Highlight Matches" is ON
2. View a favorite passage of scripture
3. Cut/Paste a word w/o accents or spectial chars to Text Viewer
4. Click "Find" and note that blue highlighting works
5. Cut/Paste a word with an accent ('), enye (~), umlaut (..), etc. to Text Viewer
6. Click "Find" and note that words are found but W/O blue highlighting

Sorry to be slow responding. I've confirmed that the bug exists, and will fix by the next release. Thanks for your assistance.
